A Message from the Founder

Habit Haven was created through both professional experience and lived understanding.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2012, and over the years I’ve worked closely with many individuals and their caregivers. Through those roles, I had countless conversations about habits, routines, and what people genuinely felt would help them function better in daily life. What became clear was that lasting change rarely comes from pressure or perfection—it comes from small, supported steps and environments that make consistency feel possible.

At the same time, my own life taught me that lesson in a deeply personal way. My path has not been linear. I spent several years in an abusive relationship and struggled profoundly during that time. Eventually, I entered a faith‑based rehabilitation program, where I stayed for ten months and began rebuilding my life one small decision at a time. I have been in recovery since 2017.

That experience changed how I understand behavior, self‑worth, and habit formation. I learned firsthand how overwhelming change can feel—and how powerful small, intentional steps become when they’re supported with compassion and structure rather than shame.

As I continued working on my own habits and learning more about myself, one thing became very clear: I deeply enjoy helping people move toward their best selves in ways that feel realistic, sustainable, and human.
